Value chain

We develop our value chain sustainability by challenging suppliers to set emissions reductions targets, supporting our customers’ sustainable choices, increasing supply chain audits, and increasing the share of sustainable products of the net sales. Our activities have impacts on the whole society and its welfare. Kesko and K-retailers are significant employers, investors, taxpayers and product and service providers.

Kesko is committed to supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in its operations. We have identified the SDGs that are most material for us in accordance with our sustainability strategy. In our value chain work, the key goals for Kesko and its stakeholders include Decent Work and Economic Growth, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action and Life on Land.
