The President of the Republic has granted the Finnish honorary title of kauppaneuvos to Paavo Moilanen, Kesko's Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications and Responsibility.
Paavo Moilanen was born in 1951. He started employment with Kesko in 1974 and since then, has held a variety of positions in the K-Group. From 1986, he has had several leadership roles, for example, District Director in Kajaani, Jyväskylä and the Vaasa province, Chain Director in the grocery trade, Vice President for the Builders' and Agricultural Supplies Division, and Managing Director of the K-Retailers' Association. Since 2005, Paavo Moilanen has acted as Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications and a member of Kesko's Corporate Management Board. Since 2007, he has also been responsible for the management of Kesko's corporate responsibility operations.
During his career, Paavo Moilanen has also been active in various positions of trust.
