Noomi Jägerhorn appointed as Kesko’s Vice President of Sustainability

Noomi Järgerhorn (M.Soc.Sc.) has been appointed as Kesko’s Vice President of Sustainability. She will join the company on 1 May 2025, and assume her new position on 1 June 2025 at the latest.

Noomi Jägerhorn’s strong experience in ambitiously steering sustainability work in both B2C and B2B customer interfaces is an excellent fit for Kesko and its objectives,” says Lasse Luukkainen, Kesko’s Executive Vice President of Legal and Sustainability.

Noomi Jägerhorn comes to Kesko from Posti Group, where she headed the sustainability function in from 2015 to 2023, and is currently the Account Director for the eCommerce and Delivery Services business.

Kesko’s sustainability work has received international recognition. In the ’Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World’ listing published annually at the World Economic Forum, Kesko has ranked the highest in its industry (Consumer Staples) globally for three consecutive years, and is the only company in the world to have made the list every year since its inception in 2005.

Kesko is also included in key sustainability indices, for example, ranking the highest in its industry in Europe in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World and Best-in-Class Europe indices in 2022-2024.

Kesko’s current Vice President of Sustainability Matti Kalervo will retire on 1 June 2025 after 26 years in Kesko.
